POD Air – Passive Projector Cooling Device
Blown air using industry standard 10”/250mm HVAC Fans and Ducting. POD Air Seamlessly integrates with our POD Modular Rigging Projector enclosures to provide passive air cooling to keep projector temperatures at their optimum for long-lasting, reliable installations.
POD Air - a variety of uses and activation sources
Designed to cool projectors with filtered, clean air, POD Air is a multi-purpose passive cooling device.
It can be used to vent and circulate air in and out of an auditorium, museum environment or space, a simulator, or be used to direct air at visitors/guests in a multi-sensory (4D) themed immersive attraction.
The Fan and Control elctronics are housed in a super rugged enclosure with replaceable MERV rated filter panels.
POD Air is pre-set at the factory for an always-on or always-off configuration.
Using POD Air’s DB9 Serial Data Interface (trigger Input), the Fan can be activated via any device or system capable of issuing/sending a 5V DC High or Low Signal.
Typically controlled by the GPIO Output of any capable projector, the versatile trigger Input can be activated via GPIO, RS232, DMX…
